Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE MARIE JULLIET BEAUDRY
Peacefully on May 23, 2026, Anne Marie Beaudry (née Brisebois) passed away at Actionmarguerite St. Vital at the age of 100. Her goal was to make it to her 100th and she succeeded and celebrated with a family gathering in March.
Anne Marie was predeceased by her husband, Edward in 2010, her infant son Louis, daughter Angela, sons-in-law, Michael and Bruce, daughter-in-law Dianne, and her granddaughters, Pamela and Ashley.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Therese Gunn (Lorne McCool), Rene (Ginette), Leon, Claude (Jaye), and Louise (Jim Strachan), nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Anne Marie was born in South Junction, Manitoba, March 12, 1926, to parents, Athanase and Beatrice Brisebois. She finished her schooling early to help her parents on the farm and care for her younger siblings. She married Edward in 1946 in South Junction and began raising their six children while keeping busy sewing, knitting, crocheting and gardening.
In 1964 they moved to Redditt, Ontario as Dad was working for CN Rail. It was exciting for the family as they finally had running water and an inside bathroom.
She was always in the kitchen preparing meals and was well known for her delicious homemade soup and cinnamon bread. People would often drop in unexpectedly and stay for a meal and she was happy to feed them.
In the 90s Mom and Dad moved to Lorette to be closer to doctors and then moved to Winnipeg in 2005.
An important part of Mom’s life was her faith; she showed devotion to St. Christopher.
The family would like to thank the staff at Actionmarguerite St. Vital, 3rd floor for their wonderful care over the last nine years.
In keeping with Anne Marie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held in South Junction at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

Fiorella and I (Julian) would like to express our sincere condolences to the family. I can remember when Lilie and Ed were the school caretakes in South Junction and all the visits we had with them after they moved to Redditt. That seems like a lifetime ago. - Posted by: Julian Aime Lavergne (Cousin) on: Jun 04, 2026
